It's a good book. It teaches the basics of Python like it's meant to and is filled with examples and code snippets. I certainly wouldn't say you leave the book feeling like an expert (more like "A Beginner's Guide" rather than "Beginner to Expert Guide) but you do get a good feel for the language and how to write basic scripts.
